Privacy Policy
Effective 22 September 2026
This policy describes how the SystemPulse mobile app and the hosted SystemPulse service at systempulse.link handle information.
The mobile app does not enroll, monitor, or collect hardware telemetry from your iPhone or iPad. It connects to the SystemPulse server you choose and displays information already held by that server.
Information we handle
Account and authentication information
A SystemPulse server may process your email address, display name, organisation membership and role, profile image, password hash, passkey public credentials, authenticator settings, recovery-code hashes, and session records. Session records can include an IP address, user agent, sign-in time, and last activity time.
Managed-device information
Endpoint agents enrolled by an organisation administrator report information about those managed computers. This can include device identity, operating-system and hardware details, local network addresses, performance and temperature measurements, installed applications, available updates, device tags, job results, and audit events. This information describes enrolled endpoints, not the iPhone or iPad running the mobile app.
Information stored on the mobile device
The app stores the selected server address and display preferences in app storage. It stores its session credential in the Apple Keychain. The app sends account sign-in information and authenticated requests directly to the HTTPS SystemPulse server selected by the user.
How information is used
- Authenticate users and protect accounts.
- Display device health, history, inventory, and available updates.
- Deliver confirmed administrative actions to eligible managed devices.
- Maintain security, diagnose failures, prevent abuse, and record an audit trail.
- Respond to support and privacy requests.
Sharing and tracking
SystemPulse does not sell personal information, show third-party advertising, or track people across other companies' apps and websites. Information may be visible to authorised members of the same SystemPulse organisation. A hosted SystemPulse service may use infrastructure providers to operate the service, and information may be disclosed when required by law or to protect users and the service.
Self-hosted servers
If you connect the app to a server other than systempulse.link, that server's owner controls the information it receives and its retention, access, and deletion practices. Contact that server administrator for requests concerning their server.
Retention and deletion
Active sessions expire or can be revoked. Organisation administrators can remove managed devices and their associated operational data. Other account, audit, and organisation records are kept for as long as needed to provide and secure the service or meet legal obligations. You may request access, correction, or deletion by contacting support. Some records may be retained where required for security, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.
Security
SystemPulse uses HTTPS for app connections, hashes passwords and recovery codes, stores mobile session credentials in the Apple Keychain, scopes data to organisations, and records sensitive administrative actions. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Children
SystemPulse is intended for people who administer computer systems. It is not directed to children under 13, and the hosted service does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
This page will be updated when the policy changes. A revised effective date will appear at the top.
